Bra size help please

I'm certain I'm wearing the wrong size bra - it's a 34DD and it's certainly seen better days (think holes in the fabric at the back and most of the elastic gone). I want to buy some new ones but don't know my actual size - what's the MN method for measuring yourself that I've seen on the bra intervention threads please?

measure around your underbust (rib area) then full bust to get the two measurements.

I'm 32'' under bust and 39'' around the bust - what sizes should I try?

32 E or F I think?

Or even a larger cup size.

Bras do vary though - even in the same brand. Different styles fit differently too.

It's wise to take a range into the fitting room with you -to get a feel of what fits your particular shape.

Start with 32 F, and a few sizes around it. If you are not sure, pop in Bravissimo, or another shop that stores that sort of size.

When you wear the 34 DD is there any spillage (breast tissue coming out of the cup - check with a tight t-shirt)? Do you scoop? - essentially rearrange the breast tissue from the sides and below into the cup.
