Earrings with short hair

So - after having my long hair cut off into a v, v short pixie (and bleached blonde to boot!) I have an earring dilemma.

I was never massively into big, ornate items of jewellery- but do have a few pairs of earrings.

Hoops/creole type, diamond (and fake ) studs, pearl studs - plus a few danglier styles.

When I had long hair I felt more able to wear the larger earrings-

Am a little worried about straying into Su Pollard territory though - so what would anyone suggest for me ?

Am in my late forties, dress fairly casually most days (even for work), don't wear a lot of make up.

I have had hair cut much shorter and tuck behind ears and suit smaller earrings now.
But not as small as studs.

they don't look su pollard to me, they look very nice!
I have v short hair like you dress casually and wear no make up- earrings are how I decorate myself.

I guess a lot is down to personal taste - and what we think looks good on ourselves.

Would you wear in both ears or just one ? They come as a pair - but i think i would be inclined to wear one, with a small stud in the other ear?

The Monsoon ones are nice (I have short hair and I'm going blonder in stages)

I have some eurowires with a faux pearl and a CZ stud about the same size.
the constellation ones are neat to the ear. Wear both or you'll get someone asking if you lost one.

I can only wear studs to work, so I tend to wear a silver cz stud (about 5mm )
I like hoops but nothing bigger than a wedding ring size (not Tina or Kylie from Corrie hoops)

I think you could wear a pair of those
I do sometimes wear 1 dangly 1 stud, mainly because I have a lot of half pairs (lost the others) but I think it's quite an eccentric look

I have v short hair and wear biggish studs or quite light dangly ones. Dangly and chunky are just too much I find.

I do like earrings with character though, as they are so much more on display with short hair.

When I had short hair I used to love wearing "edgy" earrings often odd ones
Now I have longish hair in my natural wavy style no one ever sees my ears
