Trying to find a warm and waterproof coat for my little girl. It has to be navy for school. She really feels the cold to the point her hands and lips start going blue! She's had a polarn o pyret coat when she was younger which was great, but now she's point blank refusing to let me buy another as they look horrible apparently in navy!

Have you come across any? I'm happy to pay a lot if it'll keep her warm

Would this one from John Lewis do? It looks very warm.

There's this one from Superdry that goes down to a Uk size 6.

If her school allows a pattern, DD had this coat from Joules last year and it was super-warm and fully-waterproof.

Tethers first link look good.
If she is old enough to fit into a small ladies, get yourself on tho this or last years warm winter coat threads: merrell, north face, didriksons spring to mind.

Make sure it is wind/waterproof. If not windproof, she will freeze. DS1's last coat had half gloves at the ends of the sleeves which stopped the wind getting up them.

Sorry for the delay! Thanko u for all your help. She's nearly 7 so wouldn't fit into a ladies one unfortunately. She likes the lands end one, so will do a little bit of research into it and she will have that one!

Does anyone know what the sizing is like for landsend? The size choice I have is 6-7 or 8-9? She's a tall 6 year old, almost 7. I wish there was a 7-8!
