Will these jeans work on my shape legs??

I've just bought these jeans

In a size 14. The style is relaxed skinny so they do fit a bit loose but my issue is my thighs, while I'm a slimish size 12-14, my thighs are my weak point as they are a bit chunky. I appreciate that the jeans won't be to everyone's taste but I love them. I am wondering though whether the patchwork detail will just draw people's eyes to my legs too much. What do you think?

If you have chunky thighs, these will draw the eye straight there. I'd avoid, personally.

Although I have very wide thighs, and you might be able to get away with them.

Hmm. Part of me thinks that a size 12-14 can wear most things but then I look at my thighs and wonder if there are some things just made for size 10 people. Not sure on this one.

I'm a size 16, 5ft7 and relaxed skinnies are my everyday jeans. I cant wear normal skinnies but the looser calf/ankle on the relaxed ones stops them being too thigh enhancing. I wear them with a longer length top, not too baggy and don't feel too huge.
I'm not sure about the patchwork on these though, might be a bit busy/eye catching.

Wear them by all means, in my opinion weight/ size is purely a health issue, not a style directive or to dictate what you are allowed to enjoy wearing. I think people look best wearing styles they like, whatever their shape.
However if you aren't confident about wearing what you like, then I'd say the patchwork won't flatter your legs. Anything like that breaks up the line and shortens them, which therefore widens them, and any pattern draws the eye, regardless of what size you are.
