Previously posted about my hair falling out and the remaining been very dry. Anyway heard about olaplex and it's suppose to be amazing! Anyone tried it and Where did you get it? I'm in the north east and can't find anywhere.

You can't buy it in the shops. It's a treatment that is put on when dying your hair in a salon. It's big in the USA, not seen many salons in the UK selling it. You might find the odd eBay seller with it, although mostly they sell step/ number 3 which isn't the stuff you add to the dye, it's more a conditioner.

My salon has just introduced it. Thinking of giving it a whirl next month. £50 on top of colour price though!

LucilleLeSueur · 29/08/2015 21:33

My hairdresser does it for E35 flat fee. She said it's great but I've never needed it.

LucilleLeSueur · 29/08/2015 21:35

Oops pressed send too fast.
She offers it as a standalone treatment if a customer wants it - maybe check out local salons?

That's what I want just the stand alone treatment. I've seen the sets on ebay but it looks tricky and don't dare mess on with my hair atm Confused squooshed it's suppose to be amazing with only one treatment needed. I've tried my locals not know one does it here! In fact not many of the salons I asked had heard about it. Very jealous of you having it Smile

I'm booked in for this at a salon in Glasgow next week. I have dark hair which s bleached then dyed. I'm hoping this is the key to me going even lighter.

Squooshed · 30/08/2015 02:36

Are you having it done at Blow daftyburd?

daftyburd · 30/08/2015 09:45

Yes Grin

I just had it when I had my hair cut and coloured at my London salon.

My hair looked great immediately afterwards - as I'd have hoped from what I'd paid out! - but I haven't yet washed and styled it myself, so don't know if it's had any dramatic effect on my hair. Will report back if it has.

Thanks poly think I'm just going to have to wait for it to become more popular before salons start doing it here
