On the weekend I went into MAC with 6 empty make up bottles and in return they gave me a free lipstick of my choosing. The woman next to me in the queue didn't know they did this so thought I would share.

Any other companies do something similar?

They have to be MAC brands.

If you take 5 clean, empty Lush pots and lids back (and they are strict about the cleanliness) they will give you a pot of their fresh face masks in return.

I knew that, it's a good scheme. It can be empty lipsticks too as well as bottles.

Coastingit I had a mix of empty eyeshadow cases, loose powder, foundation bottles and lipsticks and they were all accepted. I'm going to save my lush items now too, I was chuffed to have a free lippy!

I don't think I have emptied sixmake up containers in my whole life combined. Maybe one mascara....
