Parka jacket

Has anyone seen a nice parka jacket either in the shops or online. I've decided that I would like one but can't find any I like. I'm going on a shopping trip soon so will have access to many shops but I won't have much time which is why I wanted to have some ideas before I go.
It would be a bonus is if was waterproof/showerproof.
Price is dependant on how much I like it! I'm a size 10.
Many thanks for any suggestions!

Look at Didriksons, they are fab. Often found on offer, I will check which one I have - very waterproof and warm without being too bulky.

I think I have an Angelina - not 100%, small sizes are often reduced ime.

I like this Superdry one for casual wear...

Or Regatta for a proper waterproof one...

Thank you for the suggestions. I love the look of the fur hood on the Didrikson's one.

The Didrikson coats are lovely Pink, serious coats with a fashionable look. Nordic Outdoor often have offers, especially on sizes 8 or 10.

Pinkpiglet · 28/08/2015 20:57

I'll keep a look out for somewhere that sells Didrikson's to see what the sizing is like. I may see if I could get away with a kids one!

I checked pink, mine is an Angelina. I don't think they are massively generous tbh and suspect that is why the smaller sizes are always in the sale.

Pinkpiglet · 01/09/2015 21:20

Well I really like the Didriksons Angelina but I can't find it for a reasonable price in a size 10.
Thank you for a the website suggestions lavender but they are all out of stock in a 10. Has anyone seen any good deals on the coat online?
Thanks again

Mine was from H&M. Got it on sale. Best value ever.

Saw nice ones at Uniqlo earlier. Military green, navy, and there's another colour - I forgot.

lavendersun · 02/09/2015 08:35

pink, our Didkriksons came from Viking Kids, Nordic Outdoor and Run Charlie in the past - they have always been cheaper than Blacks, Cotswold etc,.

Shame, I paid £180 for mine last year - definitely worth it. DH liked it so much he bought one (not Angelina Grin. But I have bought DD reduced Didriksons before.

lavendersun · 02/09/2015 09:20

pink - I have just ordered DD a new Didriksons and went for this one in Black

Depends on how tall you are but they go up to 170cm height for £69

CityDweller · 02/09/2015 14:21

Seen nice ones (online) in Uniqlo and Gap

Pinkpiglet · 02/09/2015 21:30

Thanks Lavender. As I am a short arse, I'm going to give the Alana a try! Thanks for the recommendation.

Thats good Pink - I am tall with gangly arms and legs so no hope here Grin.

In fact DD have just ordered 13/14 for DD just 9 as her 10/12 size won't get her through the winter ... obv gangly arms and legs is genetic.
