Is there a budget version of the Babyliss Big Hair?

I really want to try one but need to replace my hair dryer as well so can't spend £60 ish on one item.

Is there something like it but cheaper that any of you know of? Smile

BBH are usually available on Amazon for £40. If you have long or thick hair you need to go for the bigger barrel (50mm I think). It is the last product I would ever part with, worth its weight in gold. You could certainly get a cheaper hair dryer that you otherwise would and use it for your roots, leaving the BBH to dry the rest of your hair.

I have only tried one cheaper version (John Frieda one). It wasn't much less expensive and was not a patch on the BBH.

Oh, I didn't think of amazon! I will check on there, thanks.

I don't have long hair at the mo, just thick & lots of it.

I got a reconditioned one from eBay for £20. I've had it for two years now and used it nearly every day

I didn't think of ebay either. I'll do some hunting tonight. I tend to go to Boots or Argos for electricals.
