Cleaning Converse

White converse got soaked through on holiday and dried very slowly, turning a yellowish colour ???? anyone got any tips as to washing in machine and drying out please. Liquid or powder, dry in airing cupboard or on the line?

I wash mine about once a month. Just bung them in at 30 degrees with whatever I've got - powder or liquid.

Stuff with paper or old socks to keep their shape while they dry. I dry underneath a radiator.

They wash really well, to be honest, and are really resilient shoes. I must have washed my (white) Converse about 10 times and they're still absolute fine!

I washed mine yesterday for first time, just bumged them in with same colour cats pillow and they came out much cleaner than I thought they would. Dried on line as we had a lovely windy day yesterday.

Same here. Washed my white ones for the first time recently (was very nervous!) with a load of whites and they're fine. Just contemplating washing again. Didn't get all the marks off though, so I might scrub with Vanish soap stuff this time..
