DD with longest legs I have ever seen

Hi, my DD 10 has very long legs and is currently only able to wear leggings with high top boots to stop the gap showing. She is slim too. We have tried Next, Gap, Monsoon, H&M and Boden for length. Then gone back to leggings.
Does anyone have any reccomendations? With winter coming I would like to get her warm trousers and jeans. Thank you.

Are those children's clothes you've tried? Would she fit into small adult clothes with longer legs? Lots of places, e.g. Dorothy Perkins do s/r/l in trousers, so would a size 4 or 6 fit her?

I have very long legs, 34 inch and I'm 5'6, I find H&M excellent for jeans as they come up long even on me!

They also come up small and so tiny sizes like 4 and 6

I have long legs and get my Jeans/skinniea in New Look. They do up to 36 inch but the smallest size is an 8. not sure if that is too big.

Zara? Tiny sizes, long legs.

My daughter is 11
With long legs .. I buy her next clothes in the age up but the slim version so they are longer in the leg .. It works well for us .

Same here - just 9 year old in aged 11-12 clothes. I put darts in the waist of most things, making them smaller as she grows until the leg length is no longer viable.

I bought school trousers from JL in age 12 last week, they are fairly slim cut and have adjustable waists. I think they are these ones although our leg looks very tapered compared to the photos.

Best fitting jeans for DD are from Gap or Fat Face - but again she is a 12 or 13. Gap skinny jeans are cut fairly small size wise imo.

Both parents taller than average with gangly legs though so not really a surprise Grin.

Lucky for my daughter she takes after dh as I'm five foot nothing !!

I've a 36/7 inch leg and I buy from topshop. Even long tall Sally is okay sometimes and there's also a website called tall girls...

Lurkedforever1 · 29/08/2015 14:21

Tkmaxx if you need smaller than an 8. Dd is 11, measured her mid week for some new stuff, she's 5'7 with an inside leg just over 33". With the skinny no hips figure of any child. Dds full length trousers are limited to jeans, leggings and sports wear.

FoxesSitOnBoxes · 29/08/2015 14:23

Zara trousers always seem very long

Paleninteresting · 29/08/2015 17:17

Thanks all, sorry I have been away so long. I will try all the suggestion. Going into a long size 4 or 6 had not occurred to me, that's a great tip. These all give us great options. Thanks.

Top shop will do size 4 long leg .. I think I'll have to explore that option for my daughter soon.. In my experience top shop jeans last forever ????
