Facials / mud masks??

I haven't had a facial for yonks, and thought it might be a nice holiday thing to do with my teens (can't drag them out of the house Hmm).

Anyone recommend a good mud mask type thing (that I can easily get from Boots etc) please?

The only mud mask I've tried is the one from Quick Fix. The one I use is the anti-blemish one but I'm pretty sure they do more.

I normally use cucumber masks so I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to get some suggestions myself.

Savers sell sheet face masks that are lovely, they're something like 79p each! It says to leave them on for 15 minutes but you can leave them on for longer until the lotion has sunk in.

Bought some sugar clay masks from Tesco's, they were good exfoliators but still didn't get rid of the tiny black dots on the nose (blackheads?? They can't be squeezed out.)

Thanks for the responses.

The blackheads might be sebaceous filaments if they can't be squeezed out.

Something containing salicylic acid, like clearasil pads, will, over time help reduce their appearance Smile

Well I learn something new on MN every day! Will check out some salicylic acid stuff, thanks Smile
