Finally going to be selling Mac in my city; I'd like to get something to help my glow, any recommendations?

Also going to choose a nice lip gloss.

Powder highlight: Mineralize Skinfinish in either Soft & Gentle or Lightscapade.

Strobe Cream as a highlighting primer or a subtle highlight after foundation.

The Prep + Prime highlighter pen in Radiant is brilliant for disguising any blue under eye discolouration.

No idea about lip glosses as I can't stand them!

The brow pencils, the twisty ones, are fab.

Eyeliner in "Teddy"

The brushes are my fav thing to get from there.

Another vote for skin finish, I love it.
Personally I prefer their lipsticks to the glosses.

Shall check out the skin finish, thank you!

Prep + Prime Lips - amazingly good at keeping your lipstick on and stopping it drying out.

I am not a lipgloss person but love their lipsticks and liners as well as their tinted lip balms.

I am also a fan of their mechanical eyebrow pencil someone unthread recommended

Definitely mineralise- I had soft and gentle for two months and lightscapade just got bought last week. (It was out of stock for ages). Lip primer is fab, also I got brule eyeshadow and satin taupe which are both brilliant. Their face and body foundation is also a good buy especially in the bigger size, cheap as chips but I don't rate any of their others as I'm so pale. It's build able or wearable sheerly.

They have a great range of nude lipsticks too, patisserie is my favourite. I wasn't a fan of the brow pencil- I invested in anastacia Beverly Hills dipbrow instead, which comes in a small pot and is ON all day, I found the MAC one smudged on me. You need an angled brush to apply it, but it's the best eyebrow product I've ever used. It's also about £15 cult beauty have it I think. I love MAC concealer so too, I have moisture cover which is great for me.

Think Mac do some
Of the best lipsticks and at £15 mark cheaper than most high end brands. I recommend syrup and patisserie for everyday shades and love plumful for autumn and window

We've just had a MAC store open up near where I live too (possibly the same one!) I need to read this thread and get some ideas, it was really busy and there was too much to look at today when I went in. I'll go back when it's calmed down!

BrendaandEddie · 23/08/2015 22:17

if you have green eyes the shadow in Shale

MsBojangles · 24/08/2015 11:58

Paint Pot in painterly - creates a nice clean base for eyeshadow, or just a clean look if worn alone.

waceystills · 25/08/2015 21:26

Very likely blue

It was very busy when I went in on Monday, assistant said they had queues going out the door at the weekend.

I had my make up done and I bought the mineralise skin finish and a blusher, which I don't normally wear.

I love if and I had a few comments about how well I looked at work today and I'm really happy with the results. Thank you all!

A successful Grin
