Where can I find a cream cotton b;ouse?

I have looked everywhere in what I think are the likely places, but I cannot find a plain cream/ivory/ecru/off-white long sleeve blouse. It want long or three quarter length sleeves and ideally I'd like a collar and in cotton (or poly cotton). Oh and preferably no pussy cat bows.

The only ones I have found so far are polyester, and I hate polyester.

Surely it can't be that difficult???? Anyone like a challenge before I admit defeat and get a white one.

Have you looked at Austin Reed?- www.austinreed.com
Extra 20% off at the moment. Cotton shirts - some under £20

Austin Reed have the styles and fabrics, but the only ivory ones I can see are not what I'm looking for eg one had a lace collar.
But thanks anyway

Would you accept viscose and another

JellicleCat · 21/08/2015 17:11

Viscose is OK Addicted. I like those, but they are a bit sheer. I was hoping for something a bit more substantial for the autumn.

I've found a nice Pure Collection one. But it's silk and therefore £99.I'mnot sure I can justify the spending that much.

You can get a Fuji silk one from www.patra.com for £60. They do some styles that remind me of a Damart catalogue but I've got a couple of their plain coloured silk shirts & they are good quality basics (if silk can ever be considered a basic)

I think this will be to fussy for you

another m&s

Are you the right shape to buy a blokes shirt? Or do you want something more sleak?

JellicleCat · 21/08/2015 18:48

Addicted, the first one is OK but will make my norks look enormous. Not keen on the second one, crinkly stuff never quite looks as it ought to for me.

I had thought about men's ones, but yes I would have preferred something a bit more fitted.

You wouldn't think it was quite so difficult to find a not-quite-white blouse would you? I have pale skin. White in the summer is OK, but in winter-time it just makes me look washed out.

John Lewis do school blouses in loads of colours and styles. (And sizes!)

I've just recommended the shirt company on another thread. They are mostly in black/white but have different shades/colours too.
