Esprit sizing?

Does anyone know if it fits true to size or is smaller/larger? I want to order this jacket

and don't know whether to go for a M or a L. In theory a size 12 should be ok but if they run small I'd need L i think. TIA

They are generous in my experience. So don't size up.

I have a leather jacket which I accidentally, but thankfully, ordered a size up (12, I'm usually a 10 ) and it's perfect.

Sizing varies item by item, I find the guide on the website that indicates if it comes up big or small is usually quite accurate.

thanks everyone. - so, as one of you says they're generous, two say to size up and another, that the indication on the site re whether the garment comes up normally or small/large is good, I am still not sure quite where to start :) As delivery/returns are free though, I think I'll go with the large on the basis I will want to get a jumper underneath in winter.
