Can anyone tell me about Forever Living products?

I've vaguely heard of them but never actually come across them until today. Can anyone recommend / advise if the are any good? Thanks.

Okaaaay, so generally not recommended then....?! When they were mentioned to me, I vaguely recalled hearing negative stories about the company before but more than one trusted friend went on to tell me how great the products were.

Aloe is great but this is a scam.

SCAM! and absolutely no independent verification of the products doing any of the things claimed IMHO, Aloe gel is quite soothing on red skin, to be fair, but you can buy it in Boots for a fraction of the cost and without getting sucked into a massive pyramid scheme.

Aloe products can be good but I'd advise buying elsewhere or buying online tbh. Otherwise you'll just be pestered by the 'business owners' well, forever! You can probably get much better products cheaper too.

A few people I work with sell it so 2 of us decides to go halves on a bottle of the aloe gel and I highly recommend it. My skin is glowing and nails are strong for the first time in ages, and no where near as bloated. Haven't been pestered to sign up cos I haven't got the time, patience or inclination to do it. Quite a few people say the body lotions/washes are lovely and would have purchased if it wasn't for the cost.

No they're not, nor do they plan to be! Just cos the scheme is a con doesn't mean some (not all!) of the products are nice!

A good friend of mine is a rep and I have tried some of the products, some are good like the liquid soap, and they do a nice propolis hand cream, but I wouldn't say they are anything special and can be expensive. Supposedly they are very pure but they do still contain preservatives and SLS etc so not all that natural/organic if that matters to you. She has tried to get me to drink the juice for my psoriasis but it is very ££ and I'm not convinced.

My neighbour is a rep so I keep getting sweet talked about it.
The products are cheap, nowhere near the quality indicated by the price - some are fine but you might as well get them for £2 at H&B, Superdrug etc.
Their aloe drinking gel is bullshit no more effective or indeed less effective than a good multivitamin and proB product.
Their toothpaste is not recommended by my dentist...quite vehemently.

Basically imo and ime - they're cheap, basic products that perform as well as any cheap own brand. Except the cleanse and related products which are as useless as the rest of their ilk.
Unless you want to be involved in the brain washing and rely on peer pressure and placebo effect for the effectiveness. And pay 4 x the worth for the privilege.
Either save your cash and find a cheap brand you like (like Pure from W'rose) or spend the equivalent on nice products.
You won't get any secret miracles from FL I can promise you that.

Ooh what's wrong with the toothpaste??

I don't think the toothpaste has fluoride in which is why dentists wouldn't recommend it. Don't know much about toothpastes but I thought fluoride was an important feature so wouldn't give it a go. (Sorry Frite.. Assumed cos it was under my message it was for me! Rookie mistake!)

None of my friends sell it, though I discovered they each have a (different) "FL lady" who they buy from, and all were thoroughly recommending the products. I've looked at the website and it does seem expensive.

One FL rep has gone as far as to leave business cards stuck to the back of the cubicle doors in the ladies' loo at a Little Chef off the A1 in deepest Lincolnshire. We are all invited to join her in her forever business!
