Help! Spotty chin

Somebody please help! My skin is awful especially on my chin. I don't use anything except warm water to wash and maybe s drop of simple moisturiser if needed but other than that nothing! Yet my skin is awful! I also don't wear makeup so my skin can breathe and doesn't get clogged to make it look any worse. It's horrible and I feel so self conscious!

I don't want to see your post go unanswered hence the bump.

I get these if I eat sugar or white flour... Have you tried experimenting with your diet? I've been told in the past that spots on the chin are hormonal (I'm 42) so a couple of years ago I started following a 'primal' diet (have relaxed a bit now to include potatoes etc, but not the dreaded sugar or white flour!) and that seemed to sort out lots of things: these spots, pot belly, itchy patches and weirdly my aching joints!

If I have too many 'treats' (I don't say no to food at people's houses, for example) these spots come back!

Good luck - let us know how you get on!

Try a product containing salicylic acid, or if that isn't effective then try one containing benzoyl peroxide (La Roche Posay effaclar is a good option). Also make sure you're cleansing your skin at least daily with a thorough but gentle cleanser. I prefer a cleansing balm or hot cloth cleanser (Liz Earle makes a nice one).
