*stealth boast alert* How do I look after my nails and shape them?

After 3 decades of nail biting, I have somehow, without trying, managed to stop! Whilst they are still very stubby and in the early stages, I can see nail, like real lady like nail!
How do I look after them and encourage growth? Also, how do I shape them as they are currently quite rectangular? I want to look after them as hopefully it'll be the key to avoiding biting them. It's been around 2 weeks without a nibble so I don't want to go to a nail salon yet as whilst I'm super proud of my stumpy nails, I'm not ready to reveal them close up to the world! I'm very excited to have stopped though as it'll save me a fortune in Fake nails.

rub vaseline in every night, keep em clean, maybe buy a strengthening polish then when you get them to a good length go for a proper manicure, I recently did the same and treated myself to a french polish on my new found nails and it made me look after them even more. I was rubbish at getting a shape but having them done means I just follow the shape they did.

Thank you! I'll give them a couple of weeks more growth and book them in

Shaping is a dream with one of these. Expensive, but they last forever and are gentler than emery boards. Well done on the lady nails, BTW!
