Anyone wear clogs?

I've taken delivery of a pair of Swedish wooden clogs today. Bit of an impulse buy, I've never even thought about clogs before. I'm wearing them around the house and they feel a bit hard iykwim.

Can anyone say if walking on two slabs of wood ever becomes comfortable?

I have a pair. They aren't great if you need to walk anywhere fast, as I discovered trying to dash for a connecting train in the rain, but you do get used to them not moving after a few wears.

Is this a high heel version, Lev? I don't recommend the low heels as last time they were around ,i found my feet could start to come out of them and i got the worst twisted ankle ever when wearing them. The high version with a high vamp looks safer. The wooden heels and soles were not uncomfortable but sound horsey.

I have five Blush pairs of Swedish Hasbeens two low and three high and wear them all the time in the summer apart from when it rains, love them and they are very comfortable once they are worn in. I think I gave a bit of an obsession.

I have a pair - its weird - and tbh I think it will always be weird if you don't wear them every day. I normally wear fitflops or crocs, and I wear my clogs maybe once a month. They are comfortable no question, but the hard soles when I'm used to very malleable ones are strange to wear. These are they

They are the classic style, so not high. I can't link from my phone to show you. I've got worse problems now as they rub one of my feet. May have to break them in with socks on. Stylish.

I wear Toffeln theatre clogs at work, very suportive of my feet when scrubbed for long operations. Not so good for all the running around though.

They do feel a bit weird at first but that passes remarkably quickly. You'll be surprised how comfy they are. Agree not great for running.

I have lotta from Stockholms and no they don't stop feeling different to other shoes, but I do find them really comfy. I have the low wood ones which have a curve to the sole and a slight heel. I really love them and am coveting more!
