Low wedge comfy sandals that weren't made for grannys?

Do they exist? I'm struggling to find some. I need an inch or so on the wedge (can't walk in flats and any lower leads to plantar fasciitis for me), preferably without an ankle strap.

Any ideas?

oh, and non flip flop as they aren't great for walking around with ds!!
