Tinted moisturiser/ low coverage foundation advice

Can anyone recommend me a tinted moisturiser or low coverage foundation? I've always used Laura Mercier oil-free but since sorting my skin out and getting older it's tending to cake in my wrinkles and look powdery.

I don't want full coverage, having sorted the skin I want to show it off, but something more on the dewy/radiant side than matte. A bit scared of this having combination skin though!

Any recommendations?

I use perricone MD cosmeceuticals no foundation foundation. It's nice and light to wear and leaves my skin looking dewy. The only downside is the smell. It's not unpleasant, but it does have a scent to it, which I can smell when I'm wearing it!

Chantacaille Just Skin is really lovely, expensive though!

I use boujois CC cream.

If you're going to Space NK try the By Terry Sheer Expert it's gorgeous. Bourjois CC as the pp points out is also surprisingly good and very reasonably priced.

Chantecauille is would be my favourite - but it is really pricy!
Have started using nars version recently, and impressed!
Stopped using LM for same reason - though am using LM foundation as have run out of nars foundation (for times when I want full coverage)

Nars Tinted Moisturiser is lovely. Just enough coverage, but still light and natural.

I use the Clinique one which is lovely, light and glowy. I use it all year round.

I've been having the same issue, skin is nicer now and laura mercier oil-free feels too thick and heavy! I've tried loads of others and find the best one to be Nars tinted moisturiser followed by Bourjois CC cream.

I have oily skin but always use the Laura Mercier moisture supreme as oil free is cakey.

Another vote for chantacallie here. If you're interested in the perricone i would suggest buying via qvc. Get 30 day money back gaurantee. I've found that very useful when trying new expensive skincare. I have sent items back when they didn't deliver and much rather lose £5 postage than have something that was £30+ sat unused in a draw.

I too have oily skin (even though I'm 46, FFS!) and find that anything specially formulated for oily skin is cakey or chalky or hard to apply.

For very light coverage foundation, I recommend Boots No 7 Superlight Foundation, and I've just discovered Boots Natural Collection Tinted Moisturiser - very light and non greasy.

Boots no 7 Intelligent Colour. It is so light and the texture is lovely.

OP I used to use Chantecaille Just Skin but had to stop when my skin changed. I'm now using the Boots Botanics cheap-as-chips BB cream and I really like it would suggest you try this one anyway, esp if it's still on half price. However, back to the Chantecaille, what skintone are you? I have a little-used tube of the Chantecaille that I'd be very happy to send you to try out if you like?

Boots no7 intelligent colour

I am 40 and have combination skin. I recently started using a BB cream (La Roche Posay) and I have to say I'm very impressed.

I've never used a tinted moisturiser - perhaps they are similar to BB creams?

BT Sheer expert is indeed lovely as mentioned. I have a really nice textured non-cakey strivectin BB but a tad too dark unless I am tanned. If OP doesn't want to take you up on the trial offer myrtle t I will as desp to try the chantecaille. also tried the maybelline bb/cc. It's factor 30 and gives a natural finish & cheap as chips!
