Max Factor Masterpiece Max.

The best mascara on the high st. Better than most high end ones come to that.

SmileAndNod · 29/07/2015 19:36

I've always found the max factor 2000 calories one quite good. I don't really 'get' mascara though so I'm no expert

TheFormidableMrsC · 29/07/2015 19:39

Yes, and you will be surprised. Superdrug NYC mascara (various builds and shades) is absolutely bloody amazing for about £4.00. I have tried them all, used to be a slave to Clinique, heard about this one and I wouldn't use anything else now Smile

FelixFelix · 29/07/2015 19:42

I used to buy very expensive mascara all the time but never found a good one. The best I used was Loreal Million Lash mascara which was at the cheaper end of the scale (but still just over a tenner).

I have been skint recently so looked at reviews on Boots and found the Natural Collection ones have amazing reviews. Decided to give one a try as I didn't mind wasting £1.99 if it turned out to be shit, but it's so good! Much better than the crap expensive ones I've been using. I got the lash lengthening one. Definitely worth a try for the money.

I really like Max Factor clump defy.

I hate clumps.

I have crappy stumpy sparse eyelashes but have been asked if I had eyelash extensions with this.

Think it might be just over a tenner but often on offer.

maybemyrtle · 29/07/2015 19:53

Max factor clump defy or masterpiece are both fab. Masterpiece max is next for me to try.

Clueing4looks · 29/07/2015 19:55

I use miss manga by loreal, I have stupid little straight eyelashes and this makes them look fuller.

MaryBerrysEyelashes · 29/07/2015 19:56

Manga is good. A very unique style. If you're wanting natural it's not for you.

MadisonMontgomery · 29/07/2015 19:59

I like Maybelline the colossal - mascara is the one thing I wouldn't spend money on, high end ones aren't any better than high street.

cleanasawhistle2195 · 29/07/2015 20:04

Agree with Madison. I have benefit "theyre real" at the moment- and while its good, the Max factor 2000 calorie one I have if just as good if not better for 1/3 of the price.

GoodGirlGoneWrong · 29/07/2015 20:20

Thank you all, off to google them all now, sounds like max factor is good

Rimmel scandaleyes

LancashireTea · 29/07/2015 20:49

I swear by Barry M's lash Vegas mascara. It is brilliant.

BeyondTheWall · 29/07/2015 21:47

Another vote for miss manga

Waywarddaughter · 29/07/2015 22:22

The Collection purple/green tube knocked Lancôme Hypnose for six for me

Sharpkat · 29/07/2015 22:25

In the outlet aisle of my local tesco extra they have get technic mascaras. £1 each. I use a coat of the lengthening and one of the thickening and loads of people have commented

AngieBolen · 29/07/2015 22:27

Maybeline - Colossal or similar in the range.

I've tried lots, and these don't smudge, and look great on.

squizita · 30/07/2015 16:53

Rimmell snake eyes is great too.

Though Maybelline and Collection are my usual brands and have been for years.

NanTheWiser · 30/07/2015 17:00

Maybelline Sensational is very good too.

workadurka · 02/08/2015 21:48

Just bought Masterpiece Max on the recommendations here and it's really good. Not sure if I prefer it to Clump Defy yet (different shape brushes) but it's glossy, goes on easily, no clumpy bits, no smudging.
