I am in holiday packing hell!

Trying to get my clothes sorted for our trip to Cornwall - everything is laid out but there's just so much (and it's obviously all essential!). The weather looks as if it could do pretty much anything .... There's a weight restriction on luggage for our boat crossing so I can't just pack the car up to the roof unfortunately.

Will you have access to laundry facilities? We usually do a wash halfway through our holiday so only have to take half the underwear etc...

I think there are laundry facilities but I don't think we have access to them every day as they are shared between several properties.

That's the worst thing about holidaying in this country - you invariably end up packing for all 4 seasons.
I recommend making an effort to suss out the logistics of the washing situation as it could be a gamechanger!

The pile doesn't look quite so big when it's squished down - honest! I know that one half of the pile will come back unworn, probably the shorts and vest tops going by the weather forecast.

Hey petal, are you me? I'm currently writing my lists for packing to go to Cornwall on Saturday and getting my knickers in a twist over it!

I'm crap at packing so this year I'm only taking jeans and a load of tops for me but the kids stuff....there's loads of it!

I've gone for a navy/white/neutral theme so everything should interchange.
1 x stripy tshirt dress
4 long sleeved tshirts (can be layered with vests and shirts/cardigan if needed)
4 short sleeved tshirts
4 vest tops
3 pairs shorts
3 shirts
1 long jersey skirt
4 pairs trousers/jeans various types
1 tunic
2 pairs leggings
2 cardigans

I willl wear some of this for travelling but haven't decided what yet.
Oh yes, a waterproof coat with a hoody to go underneath too.

then pyjamas, swimming stuff, underwear etc
