How generous (or not) are Phase 8's sizes?

I'm usually a dress size 6/8 in the more generous clothing retailers (Fat Face) and a size 10 in the less forgiving ones (Reiss).

Does Phase 8 tend to run large or small?

They have a sale on and I want to know whether I should risk buying something that might not fit that's available online but not instore. I'm useless at sending things back so keen to get it right first time...

the sizes at phase 8 definitely come up big, IMO.

Yep they come up big.

I had one dress and it came up a size smaller. This was their fitted style jersey wrap type. Maybe it depends upon the style? I was not alone, reviews also said it was small made. It could have been a one off.

I've had wrap dresses come up big. I think in general they have vanity sizing - prob not as bad as fat face though.

I bought a dress. There lately and had to get a 12, I'm usually an 8-10 Shock

It had a zip at the back and that's where I needed a 12

Great, thanks guys! Seems there's quite a bit of variation so I'm bettter off sticking to things I can try on.
