Smart slim leg trousers for a small waist compared to hips

Do any high street shops do slim (not skinny) leg, ankle length, smart trousers for someone with a small waist compared to hips/thighs? My hips are a 12 but I have to constantly pull my trousers up as they are too big round my waist. I'm going to add some belt loops to my latest purchase but would love to find trousers that actually fit.

I have a big waist to hip difference and like the Boden Chelsea Turn ups and Gap slim cropped trousers.

Thanks Sorrel. I always assumed gap were no good for curves. I will give them and Boden a go.

Came on here to suggest Gap slim cropped but see Sorrel beat me to it. They are fab I have loads of a few pairs.

I always found mango and, to a lesser extent, Zara cut that way. I presumed because they are designed for Spanish women.

If you are prepared to have some minor alterations done, a couple of darts at the waist would open up a whole range of possibilities with a perfect fit.

Not the style you are looking for but I found fat face to fit the bill for us hourglass/pear women.

I too have Boden Chelsea and Gap tailored croppeds and slim croppeds. Much prefer the Gap ones. I don't buy trews anymore without belt loops. Seems no matter the cut of the trousers, I need a belt to hold them up. I have altered jeans in the past, still need a belt, tho I suppose they probably did look better.

Boden Chelsea didn't work for me but I have 8 to 9inch difference between waist & hip & the Boden size guide did show they shouldn't fit.
I usually use a belt to cinch the waist in a bit & the Gap cropped were a bit too low waisted for this for me. Also would have needed to sow up the pockets - slanting pockets always seem to gape on me.
This year did buy the first pair of Next trousers that fitted - usually only their jeans fit, but these were high waisted plain navy cotton. No longer available but I do find that trousers described as high waisted often work for me & this style is much more common than it used to be.
I now get Jigsaw or Hobbs which both do some styles that cope with curves but as mentioned above - best cheap option is to find a pair you like that are just too big at the waist & get them altered
