Waterproof cape

Ok, so this is out of the realms of style but I want a waterproof cape. I get far too hot in a coat and breathable waterproof coats are always far from breathable so I think I cape is the thing for me!
Must open at the front so I can wear it undone when not raining.
So can anyone point me in the right direction eventhough I am a crime against style?!

But I dress appallingly anyway so I doubt anyone would notice!
Does the raindrop one look shiny to you? It has a look of per una about the fabric which I don't like!
What about the river print?

Argh! I go around thinking my life is fine and then peruse s&b and suddenly I NEED a waterproof poncho!

Fwiw, the link to the second brand has some lighter weight ones on sale for £37 and I imagine they wouldn't be bulky. I nearly bought the purple river print one. I'm now walking away.

See, ponchos are the way forward !
