Hen Party Dress...

Any suggestions?

I'm a size 12 hourglass (defined waist, wide hips & chunky thighs) and mid 20's. We are going for a posh meal then cocktail making in the city centre next month...

Usually wear bodycon midi dresses or skater dresses with a waist belt & black tights but want something different. I'm not comfortable in short skirts or anything sleeveless...

How about one of the vintage inspired dresses from Lindy Bop?

gotredonyou · 23/07/2015 14:57

Thanks Helen. The website looks fab but I don't think I have the confidence to carry the styles off- they are very 'out there' !

I was gonna suggest Lindybop as well.
I sooo want THIS but will have to save up or wait for a sale
Floral?
different
If you've got the legs
open back
Tan one is nice

Thanks hellsbellsmelons
First one is gorgeous but also out of my price range
Love floral but don't have the arms
REALLY like different- would look good with a waist belt I have- shame its in grey though hmm
Deffo don't have the legs for that but it is stunning and very 'me'
Open back is nice but boring front.
Too pale for tan colours.

So 'different' & 'the legs' are contenders Grin

You can easily lift the grey - add neon blue, pink or red accessories.
I think that 1st one is gonna have to be my Xmas dress.
Longer version of last years one here.
