Bugger - do Next sizes come up very small?

Just ordered a jacket from them and am now worried it will come up small. Too late to cancel the order .............

I order from the tall section but they tend to come up on the generous side imo.

They come up huge IME! I can fit into an 8 in Next whereas I'm a 10-12 everywhere else.

So many people say they come up big but I find the opposite and I'm convinced its due to body shape not me being in denial. I'm Apple shaped and next is not for me. Pair shapes seem to do very well with smaller sizes there

I find they're entirely unpredictable! Some items too small some miles too big. Bought the same style trousers in two different colours last weekend needed two different sizes! Even the assistant commented on it!

I find them a good fit apart from trousers. I have a pair of wide leg trousers in a 14 which are MASSIVE (about to send back) but their size 14 jeans are very snug.

Yep - all different sizes as far as I'm concerned.

Just ordered 6 pairs of jeans in the sale. 2 pairs in a 12 way too baggy (even on the waist) other 4, couldn't do them up on the waist! Crazy...

I can be anything from a 10 to a 16 in Next. So far from uniform sizing it's ridiculous. I'm a 12 pretty much everywhere else.

Sizes ARE erratic with next. I am a 12 in some trousers and jeans and some i cant get on. Some 12's are tiny, some are fine. The two jackets i have had out of next are small made [ read the reviews at the time]. Its a hit or a miss.

Oh I find Next sizes very consistent and flattering - I am always an 8 in tops/dresses/skirts and a 10 in trousers/shorts.

They are definitely on the roomy side.

I am a tall pear shape. I am a 14 in their jeans, 16 everywhere else. Wearinga size 12 next skirt today- even when i was 12 yrs old i was a size 14 not a 12!
