maternity dress for work

I'm pg again and can't stand the sight of anything I wore before. Sound familiar? I would really like to invest in a stylish black or dark dress for work that can be paired with either different cardis or undertops. It must be knee length (not above knee) and not bump clinging - I prefer empire line. I've had no luck at all looking online. Does anyone have any ideas where I could find such a thing?

Hi have u looked at Debenham's I didn't want to spend too much on a maternity & purchased one from them - black jersey summer dress in empire style . so they may do similar for the winter ?? ?.

jojo have a smart black dress in their sale
www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/sp+black-maternity-shift-dress-in-dresses+b4772
there's also a non sale one

they look above the knee but unless you're the height of the models I expect they will sit lower.

Asos maternity! I have two dresses as you describe, one sleeveless and one with cap sleeves.

Gap has a few good options. I got this one m.gap.co.uk/product.html?dn=gp000549340000&dv=0&shopid=0&pdn=gc69514&outlet=false. I got a size bigger than I would usually because I'm having twins and wanted to ensure I wouldn't outgrow it! It's knee-length on me and from the front actually obscures my bump almost completely.

I agree with ASOS, they have a really extensive maternity line now.

Something like this?

this is nice

this says wedding but it's not that dressy, and could be worn with a cardi?

this is pretty with the dipped hem

H&M used to do a great maternity line in selected stores. Do they still?

PetiteBateau · 28/08/2015 20:17

H&m maternity stuff is great.

I liked these for work www.purpless.co.uk/en/16-4400-formal-dress they fit really well and were not clingy on my bump. They are only £12 but looked more expensive.
