Best support underwear?

Due to a medical condition and related medication I've gone from a size 12 to 18 in a year. I'm 5'8'' and have absolutely no idea how to dress now.

I'm a bridesmaid in one month and bricking it. Dresses bought so I'd really appreciate some advice about the best underwear to give me a waist again. I'm incredibly bloated around the middle and have no shape, with a flat bum.

Please help me! Will willingly spend a good whack on underwear that'll strap it all down.

Small bump (unlike my stomach - arf) if anyone has any ideas.

I think the general jist is that support underwear will help smooth your lumps n bumps but wont miraculously make you look a size smaller. I've just ordered these from Spanx, the material is very lightweight so right now I cant imagine them working at all but the reviews are pretty good for smoothing things out... be careful of fat redistribution, ie the support knickers just push the fat bits up or down!!!
