I normally use A'kin Rose and Geranium as it is lovely and creamy for my mature skin but ran out so I thought I would try this instead. If I don't double cleanse with BS Camomile cleansing butter afterwards I am finding this a bit drying. Would it suit DD's with oily spot prone skin ? If so I will pass it on.

I'm surprised you find it drying? what are you following it with? i have very dry very dehydrated skin and I think its great. it has cocoa butter in it so it may be a bad choice for oily skin? I'm others with better knowledge on oily skin will be along. my brother has very oily skin and he swears the effaclar range by La Roche Posay was life changing.

Hi BumbleNova.I usually follow with a double cleanse using the BS camomile butter and I have never noticed any dryness. This morning I decided to see what it was like on its own. I then use a Dragons Blood pad, Hylamide serum and moisturiser. My skin still feels a bit tight. I'll give it a few more goes then decide whether to pass it on and go back to my A'kin.

I love it and I have oily skin, it's perfect for me. So yes, pass it on to your daughter.

You should try the Superdrug Vitamin E hot cloth cleanser instead, that's better suited to more mature/drier skin.

Ah I didn't know that. Thanks WW !

This range was recomended to my combination skin 17 year old, she was having issues with her foundation and is using a lot of the naturally radiant products.

They have solved her dryness, flakiness and oiliness.

The overnight mask is excellant. My skin feels babylike the next day.

I couldn't see a Vit E hot cloth cleanser in Superdrug today. Is it in the same type of packaging with a cloth?

Similar packaging but it's bright pink not green. Last time I looked I remember that they were different volumes in the two types, I think there's more cleanser in the Vit E one.

If you are a beauty card holder you qualify for free delivery which might help if it's not in stock at your local Superdrug.

I prefer it to the Naturally Radiant one, but I preferred the Boots No7 hot cloth cleanser to that and Liz Earle to all three.

I use coconut oil to cleanse with, it's not drying and good value.

Thanks YoungJoseph !

I found both the Superdrug cleansers to be quite drying. Nowhere near as bad as Liz Earle's C&P though.

Crutchlow35 · 25/07/2015 07:11

I couldn't use the super drug cleansers as they were very drying on me.
