Help - pencil eyeliner for sensitive eyes

Sorry this is quite a waffle but I need the expert advice of mumsnetters! My eyeliner has started to irritate me and I can't live without it! For over a year now I've been unable to line the inside of my bottom lid and now even putting it on the top leaves my eyes looking like I've been on a bender! I've used Dior (long wear waterproof pencil) for some time now and that's started irritating, have tried a body shop one, Estée Lauder and a No7 one but am loathe to spend a fortune one something that's going to be no good. I don't like a thin line so don't want liquid. Help!

I have really sensitive eyes, wear contacts and after a lot of looking like a crazed panda who has smoked one too many of the good stuff (I don't by the way), I swear by Clinique if I am feeling flush, or rimmel exaggerate waterproof eye definer. It stays put, comes off easily and doesn't irritate, and best of all is only about £4.

I developed a similar allergy to Dior - red, itchy, irritated slightly swollen eyelids. I also react to Clinique and Maybelline but Almay, Chanel and Kiko are fine!

Ah interesting to see some one else has had a problem with Dior. All of the ones linked look exactly my kind of thing, I'll pop to the Clinique counter and ask them to try it for me and probably buy a rimmel one as it's cheap as chips! I don't feel right without eyeliner so it'll be great to wear it again without looking exactly as you describe whereis

Well if I can help then that's all good! I went to a party on sat night and there was swimming... Eyeliner didn't budge (more than I xan say for my Clinique mascara).

I have very sensitive eyes and actually rate no 7.
