I need styling for a new job...

From an office where jeans and converse trainers are the norm, to one where I need to look like a respectable grown up.

Sigh. In the olden days I used to wear tailored suits but now a) I can't afford Brooks Brothers, b) I'm all middle aged and lumpy, c) find heels torture these days, d) have given up ironing on the grounds that life is too bloody busy/short. Also e) I am such a slob these days, I usually have toothpaste/porridge/mystery food stains on my clothes and I DON'T CARE!

I'm thinking easy care dresses - with at least short sleeves to cover the tops of my arms.

Any ideas!

Dresses from Hobbs or even M&S and Uniqlo. Accessorising with a jacket if necessary or some more 'funky' jewellery and shoes. I don't usually wear courts and I have a 'city' job. Smart heeled ankle boots in winter or even smart patent flats. I also have some pencil skirts and tops that don't need ironing..
