Thanks a million ladies - I did it and didn't keep anything that didn't spark joy, apart from the pair of pants I had on! Got straight on to mumsnet bra intervention, measured myself and then on to t'internet and ordered a bunch of stuff from curvissa, bras, pants, skirts, tops etc. Some of it came next day, despite not ordering til late in the afternoon. However, can't really decide about tops until the bras arrive in a couple of days, but, hallelujah, the pants fit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have pants that fit, that aren't ratty and holey, don't roll down from the waist or dig in, mercy be, the girl has pants!
I have 3 massive bin bags, one for the bin and 2 for charity and about 6 things in my wardrobe. I shall now purchase a few things at a time, but with great care and regard to whether they 'spark joy'. I deserve clothes that make me feel good, even if I am not the size I hope to be after all my 'fitbit' activity (8 miles today).
Will no longer lounge about in old grotty t shirts and leggings (my lovely old neighbour told me to get some nice pj's when I went into hospital to have my ds coz she said I looked like a hobo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
), gonna get me some pretty stuff.
Thanks so much for all your input. Would greatly recommend this 'regime' to anyone. Will start on my books tomorrow!!!!
