Nautical fancy dress FFS

Or help me think of what to wear because I'm shit at this.

I'm short and fat and I struggle to find ANY clothes for parties that I'm comfortable in, never mind with themed restrictions!

So far, I've got a plain ish navy and white circle dress from Lindybop and an anchor necklace

Anyone got any more creative ideas of how to do this theme?

No need to get too elaborate, unless you fancy a pirate outfit.

I feel exactly the same about fancy dress. I hate all the tiny outfits that make me look shorter (and fatter) than I already am.

Can it be anything nautical related? If so, I'd go as Napoleon or a pirate.

do you need any more than that? Can you buy a plastic lobster and make a 'witty' fascinator out of it?

Every year I eye up yellow raincoats and every year I just about manage to remind myself that I'd look like I was in fancy dress as a fisherman.

Your outfit sounds fine. Couple of fake tattoos and you're sorted.
