I adore the colour but am having major issues.

Despite using a sugar scrub and then a lip moisturiser the colour goes all dry and bitty on me .

Any tips?

Why the hell do MAC not do their shades in other formulas?? The retro matte formula sucks donkey balls .

I love this! I use a matching lip liner (asda George do an amazing one for a pound!!) all over the lip then use the lipstick on top.

Lasts a lot longer and doesn't go bitty on me.

I like the retro matte and matte formulas - I find them less drying than the other formulas.

Using a lip brush really helps IMO.
Also, the Nuxe lip balm in the glass jar is very good under as it is matte.

Maybe it's my gammy lips then. Hmm.

Ruby Woo is the same on me. No amount of lip preparation makes it stay intact. I'll look for that balm thanks Carpaccio.

I'm a bit over matte lips in general now as I think the trend has been done to death and also I don't think it's the most flattering finish on most people. Have been loving their Lustre lippies recently.
