My cardi buttons keep popping open!

I am large of nork.
I wear skinny 50s sort of style cardigans. They fit me ok, but the buttons keep popping open on my boobs. Actually, not so much popping, more of a sliding out of the button hole. I like wearing the cardis undone as well as done up, so don't want to sew them closed.

Any ideas or tips for helping? Ta. ????

Tiny safety pins in between the buttons on the inside. But personally I just sew most of my cardigans up at the front and have a couple of others that I can wear open.

No, honestly, they fit me fine.

The buttons are not flat...they have a raised bit at the back...they are shiny too, and sort of slip out of the button hole. I'm wondering if that's the issue.

Ah yes, you could try putting a few stitches in to make the buttonholes smaller.
