Comfy flip flops for wearing indoors as slippers..

My heels keep cracking and I'm fairly sure that being barefoot on our hard tiled floor isn't helping so I'm looking for something to wear inside as lightweight slippers. I've tried my Havaianas but they are too plasticky, my Birkies are too heavyweight and my Saltwaters are too substantial. I don't really want anything warm so Ugg style flip flops are a no no but can anyone suggest anything lightweight and open (rather than a closed slipper) but with a bit of comfort to it which might do the trick?

Animal fliplops are extremely comfy. The bit between your toes is silky rather than rubber and they're not completely flat either.Lots of different designs, have a look on eBay.

My Croc flipflops are amazingly comfy, with a moulded sole, but are, obviously, plasticcy. I don't get sticky in them though.

However I read something earlier in the week saying that a lot of women could avoid hard, cracked skin on their heels if they ditched the flip flops and wore proper shoes, so it might not be the answer.

These yoga mat flip flops are the squishiest most comfortable flip flops I have ever worn. Soft tops and squishy bottoms. Lush.

I've had these Ecco flip flops as slippers for 3 summers IIRC. Cushiony and non-plastic, I can't wait to change into them!

Another vote for crocs flipflops. By far the comfiest . They don't even look like crocs .

I have ugg flip flops and they aren't warm at all. They're really light and the tiny amount of sheepskin on them is under the V that goes over the top of your foot. So they're just super comfy rather than warm. I wore them on holiday when it was hot hot hot!

Crocs. They are like wearing cashmere on your feet!

Well, if you're in France this year or check eBay in intermarche last year I got a great pair of soft leopard print thong slippers... Absolutely gorgeous and cheap if I recall.

So comfy and perfect for summer!

Ps the straw soled accessorise ones are great too.

Animal flip flops all the way. I've converted many people who now agree. They are very comfortable.

I wear my fitflops around the house

I have the same problem re cracked heals. Ended up getting some super cheap wedge flip flops from lidl. They're hideous, so I wouldn't wear them out of the house but they're super squishy! Look for a bit of a wedge sole.

You need to see my foot thread. I am Havaiana wearer all year around.

I bought cheap rubber flip flops in primark. They are kind of spongy to walk on and so comfortable. It's almost like walking on a thick yoga mat. They're purely for around the house or at a pool.

I use THESE as slippers
Mega lightweight and comfy to boot!!

The flip flopping can be the cause of cracked heels, so try and get something more sandally that will stay on your foot!
