I've got a hankering for a pair of Saltwater sandals. However, I usually avoid ankle straps as I have no ankles to speak of..my calves literally merge straight into my calves 
Can I get away with Saltwaters?
I usually wear Birkies (Madrids) which I love and are quite forgiving on the ankles but I want something a bit strappier and more feminine.
Any ideas if Saltwaters are out of the question? I'd want something fairly robust and well made and not completely flat.
