Next-Lift,Slim and Shape Jeans. Anyone tried?

I need some jeans- I have not bought any for ages.
My old Tesco £10 ones finally gave up the ghost (and TBH , I felt like Frank Gallegher when I wore them )

My much loved M&S 5 pocket jeggings have hung in the wardrobe since I had my gallbladder surgery and they are jeggings not a pair of jeans.

So, I need something high enough in the waist to sit nicely and with a good enough waist (I'm very apple shaped at the moment)

I'm working hard on shifting the belly, my hips are a 38" and I'm an average height 5'5".

I'm going to venture into unchartered territory here

(I;ve tried M&S shape jeans, Primark and Diane Gillman but none suited me)

I have and I like them, mine are boot cut I think but they are very skinny on the calf. Also, size down. I'm normally an 8 ish and I bought the 6

I have the bootcut version and love them. They are soo comfortable and hide my post baby tummy under clothes really well.

I have a pair. They turn my legs blue every time I wear them no matter how many times I wear them, and the elastine is snapping in the cheap fabric.

But I expect nothing less of Next and the price paid.

I swear by them, only jeans I ever buy - bootcut, skinny straight love them, super comfy and flattering. The boot cut in the long length with wedges may not be the hight of fashion, but make my legs look long and balance out shoulders to hips and bum while being high waisted to cover a multitude of tiny sins!!

I tried some on and was impressed, they do really suck in your middle and bum. I tried the skinny fit on - I'm a fan of the M and S jeggings usually. Not sure how well they would wash though, have read poor reviews of how their 'relaxed skinny' wash. Probably size down.

I have the bootcuts. They are quite a slim bootcut and I get compliments when I wear them but beware of the sizing. They have a lot of stretch so you could probably size down. I find them very comfortable when I wear them first but with all the stretch they do tend to loosen as you wear them.

I have the skinny and slim cut. They are really flattering and don't keep falling down and showing your builder's bum, they sit nicely on the waist! But weirdly although I have the same size for both pairs, with the skinny ones I have to lie down on the bed to pull them on (they are fine once on!) but the slim pair seem quite baggy! So check the sizing.

I can only echo what plumstone and ILikeToClean have said. They are the only jeans I wear and I have 3 pairs of the straight ones and 1 pair of skinny. Correction - I have 2 pairs of straight ones as I wore 1 pair SO much that the material has literally disintegrated! I have found that the dark ones come up a lot smaller than the lighter coloured ones so definitely order a few sizes! Oh and they often have them in the Next Directory sale which should be coming up very shortly.

I wear mine all the time, and they're my favorites. A good pair of slimming and shapely jeans are usually best bought from a plus size clothing store; they actually make jeans suitable for a wider range of women.

H&M are usually my go-to store. Have you tried Anna Scholz? They make great plus size clothing, fit for purpose, and have a sale on right now.

I bought some a couple of years back for a weekend away abroad.

I wore them to the airport. By the time I got there they were baggy. By the time I got to our destination they were falling off me. The pockets were gaping they were sooooooo baggy. I had no other jeans with me and I had to wear them again that weekend.

They were £45 and I got my money back.

I have a pair of Lee Cooper straight jeans on today and they are flattering, keep their shape and were £15 from Sports Direct.

They are ok. You do need to size down as they have a lot of stretch. I too prefer the Gok ones from Sainsburys which are cheaper and a better fit.

I have always worn next jeans -found them great-last couple of years been buying the relaxed skinny, until this year -when I bought a pair that went so baggy within a few hours , the store let me change them for a smaller size ...then within the next couple of days the same happened again. Not sure what is going on with the fabric at the moment but it isn't good-annoying as they were always great for jeans.

I find they wear out super-quick. Admittedly, my thighs chafe somewhat (even when I was skinny - sigh). That said, Next's "Enhancer" range i'm finding pretty good and they are also slightly cheap than the Lift & Separate range...

I have the skinny ones.. Love them so comfy but down a size though.

I also have 2 pairs of Next premium jeans too & they are fab .. Worth the extra money.

I bought the £45 ones (bootcut) I need a belt with them (I was amazed that they fit round my lardy belly but to need a belt as well.....?)

I saw the Enhancer ones but they didn't have my size (I got a 12 R) so I may have to go back to another Next store........
