Can an apple wear an A line skirt?

I've had it on, off and on again and I can't decide if it's flattering. I have a waist and good legs, am 5'6 and usually a size 12, although the skirt is a 14 because it's just that bit more comfy if I'm wearing it all day, having big dinners with clients etc. My worst asset is a pot belly which makes me look permanently 6 months pregnant.

Do I keep? Or send back? I could upload a pic but I'm terrified of being outed (previous stalking ishoos)

I don't see why not. I prefer to wear a slightly fuller skirt but with a wider (and hopefully flattening) band at the top. What would you wear it with?

Personally I usually can't but that skirt looks good on you. With a waist like that - I'm similar, pencil shapes tend to look best on me as they really show my waist.
