I can't justify buying this bag and I don't even know why I like it
www.johnlewis.com/ted-baker-deena-across-body-bag-black/p1839459?s_dscid=ct_300_100000_V

someone please buy it and assure me it is going to a good home Grin

Yuck.

I wouldn't take it if they were paying me Grin .

SavoyCabbage · 09/07/2015 14:14

Me neither! Now I will have to look at loads of other things to stop the peaches bag looming up at me on sidebars foe the next week! Grin

SophiePendragon · 09/07/2015 14:15

Ooh lovely, a bag with giant flesh coloured plums on it.

SophiePendragon · 09/07/2015 14:15

Oh are they peaches?

SavoyCabbage · 09/07/2015 14:16

I thought they were peaches. Ghostly peaches. I'm not going back to look again...

ObeseDenise · 09/07/2015 14:17

They look like shaved balls.

sebsmummy1 · 09/07/2015 14:18

I don't mind it but it's too dressy for my life.

PoppyBlossom · 09/07/2015 14:21

I actually really liked some of the ted baker prints this year (not this particular shaved balls once though) but they are so distinctive looking that they are very much one season wonders.

Thurlow · 09/07/2015 14:27

My eyes, my eyes...

But you have just reminded me that the Ollie & Nic sale is on, lovely, the bag I've had my eye on for a while is reduced from £65 to £25!

mummy0bummy · 09/07/2015 14:29

Good point Savoy, my sidebar ads are
Always for hideous things I've heard about on Mumsnet Grin

GinUpGirl · 09/07/2015 14:29

I really like it. I love unusual bags.

DragonWithAGirlTattoo · 09/07/2015 14:34

ew, thats nasty!

butterfly133 · 09/07/2015 14:38

Sophie "Ooh lovely, a bag with giant flesh coloured plums on it."

this made me lol.

it's the kind of bag I'd love on someone else. If I bought it, 2 days later I'd say "what on earth am I doing with this, it's not me at all".

gerbiltamer · 09/07/2015 21:54

Agreed. Foul.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 09/07/2015 22:01

Eurgh, I thought Lulu Guiness were the height of tack................but they might have a rival Shock

butterfly133 · 10/07/2015 13:13

I'm now curious to know what people feel about this one

www.johnlewis.com/ted-baker-deena-crosshatch-clutch-bag-mint/p1857156?s_dscid=ct_300_100000_V

(not planning to buy this either, just curious)

I am never inclined to patterns so I am wondering myself why I like these.

OP posts:
KnockMeDown · 10/07/2015 13:16

I think that they are reduced for a reason. ......

Costacoffeeplease · 10/07/2015 13:26

I was just going to say the same thing - and there's more than 10 in stock - wow there's a surprise!

gerbiltamer · 10/07/2015 13:29

The second one reminds me of a tea designed to combat idigestion.

I suppose, to be fair, that JL took a risk.

butterfly133 · 10/07/2015 14:41

the stuff I want in House of Fraser isn't even reduced a tiny bit Sad

OP posts:
DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 10/07/2015 15:09

Oh dear they are both SO hideousGrin

butterfly133 · 10/07/2015 15:26

I would normally buy something like this
www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_62034+133078BE0M_-1

good thing we're going on a countryside break, maybe it's my brain's way of telling me I need to see nature!!!

Clutch bag "Mint"

Them's brambles Shock
Since when did mint has thorns?

Wagglebee · 10/07/2015 17:14

Oh are those peaches? Not what I first thought of at all.

Nope.

Allbymyselfagain · 10/07/2015 19:04

I nearly bought one of them to go with the matching dress. The dress is beautiful, the bag was purely for a wedding. I wouldn't buy one just for the sake of it
