Favourite tote bag

My much loved longchamp tote has a hole in it. I have young boys so it is full of snacks, cars etc and takes a lot of wear.

I'm looking for a replacement but would like something with a bit more structure inside - I am permanently rummaging for keys etc.

Any recommendations?

I have this which is big enough for my toddler's things and lots of compartments.

I really like the Modula bags. I have this Pippa one in the shark grey. I have it in small but it also comes in large. I think it would suit your purpose very well. The grey goes with everything too. There are lots of other Modula bags too...

I have a Modalu Pippa in small which I don't really like and never use - too much 'gold' metalwork for my liking. Also I find the grey very limiting because it's so light and only really works in summer.

In particular, think you would find it very heavy stiff and structured compared to the Longchamp Pliage (of which I'm a fan and have 3). Know what you mean by Longchamp needing more internal structure but there must be a happy medium somewhere!

I have a modulu pippa that I use for work, its very heavy on its own without all the junk I put in for work, and the strap is quite short so you tend to carry it like a wag, in the hook of your elbow.

I have a leather tote, but it's far too heavy for me. I like my boring Kipling one, because it weighs next to nothing.

I'm still looking for one of those organiser things to put inside it - has anybody got one they can recommend?

You can get much cheaper ones but I think you get what you pay for. I love mine. I've had it for around 2 years. I had a Tumi one before that (when I lived overseas). I swap handbags maybe once a fortnight but when I do it's really easy. I have a bit of OCD too and could never just chuck all my things in a big bag. I love that everything is in it's place :-) Other larger stuff (bottle of water for example) can easily fit in around the bag organiser.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. I really want to buy it in a real shop though, so I can see exactly what it looks like first.

Yeah, they don't seem to sell them in either John Lewis or House of Fraser. You can send it back. They're very lightweight so postage wouldn't cost much. But if you look at the measurements and get the right size I think you'll be pleased :)
