highlights - how often

if you have highlights (specifically foils, blonde), how often do you get them done?

(Or, how often would you ideally get them done if time/money no object?)

I've got blonde highlights and get them done about every 6 weeks. This is about right for me.

Every 12-14 weeks but my roots aren't very dark

Every 12 weeks, with a 6 week cut in-between.

Ideally - every 6 weeks.

In reality, due to cost and childcare difficulty - about every 10 weeks.

I have a mix of colours, ashy blonde - after 6-8 weeks the mix isn't clear and it is quite golden and loses the ashy tones and darker shades so looks quite brassy. But at £120 a pop I can't go more often. Plus it takes 3 hours so difficult to manage with two preschoolers.

(I get a t section every other time which iirc is £62 and takes under 2 hours and does the job fine as long as I get a full head done at least every third time)

Every 3 months, which is fine with me - I get a mix of highlights and lowlights so regrowth isn't too often. I get a cut more frequently though.

Every 3 months although I am quite fair anyway, would do full head, t section, half head, t section at those intervals so full highlights once a year (cheapskate)

6 weeks.

3x a year to blend in the grey.

Every four months or so, but I don't have my highlights done to the roots.

They start about 4-5 inches below and is more of a blended, grown out balayage style.

Full head every 7 mths mix of gold and ash with some self appiled random ones every 6 weeks or so

Usually every six weeks , have been known to go as long as eight if I can't get an appointment .
I can do touch ups by myself in between if needed so always looks 'done'.
