Long Bob - how do I style it??

I had my long layered hair cut into a long bob just above my shoulders. No layers at the back and just a few face framing ones. How do you style it nicely? I straightened it but it looks too flat/shapeless, getting used to the length is a bit of a shock for me too. Its cut quite similar to the pictute below.

Some volume spray, rough dry with a hairdryer then use a Babyliss hot brush. Clamp the top layers up and use the hot brush starting from the lower layers until you have finished at the top. Optional straighteners to smooth but not too flat. Velcro rollers on top until you are ready to go out.

That sounds perfect, thank you so much sonata Flowers I have the babyliss but never liked it for my long hair, will take it out again and get some velcro rollers too.

You can create some waves with your straighteners to add texture. Lots of tutorials on YouTube.

That's a good idea too, thanks stripytees

sonata1 I tried it with the babyliss today and its amazing!! Sooo much better than just straighteners, thank you again for the tip :) Next time I will add waves like stripytees suggested for another look. Feeling happier with my hair now :)
