Help outfit needed for SIL wedding

Help it's my SIL wedding in two weeks and I have put off getting a dress because I haven't lost any weight
I'm a size 20-22 and 5"4 would this be ok? Or should I try something more retro like a fifties dress? I have hats that are blue, pink or lilac - it's formsl so need a hat - any advice?

I'm a similar size to you (a bit taller) and I got a dress for my cousins wedding from Evans Scarlett and Jo range. I absolutely love it, they have a sale on some dresses at the moment.

Thanks I'm a very self conscious because my SILs are models and singers and I'm the dumpy academic that married their step brother!
I've got a light petticoat if I want to make it more retro and a faux fur shrug because it's outside all evening. Might get a blue pashmina too for arm coverage
