Which MAC lipstick?

I have a red. I'd like something summery but not too 'out there.' Something for casual evenings out

Recommendations welcome

See Sheer is a lovely coral shade, Plumful is a berry plum colour, Sweetie is a nice pink, and Syrup is a light lilac pink kind of shade, Freckletone and Hug Me are good nudes, Angel is a milky pink....I love my Mac lippies

I like Patisserie (nude) and creme cup (pale pink). I want to get see sheer.

Syrup and Plumful are nice.

If, like me, you can't wear/don't like pale nudes like Creme Cup, Mehr is a lovely alternative. I bought it last month and have worn it every other day. It's so versatile.

Vegas Volt if you're into bright corals.

I've just bought Relentlessly Red and am slightly obsessed with it. Doesn't fit your brief though.

I have Mac Plumful, great for nights and very tired days. Tiny bit strong for me for days but I'm quite fair, and prefer nudes for day. I've never found a Mac nude to suit but will have a good look, armed with this list!

I love Relentlessly Red - it isn't red though. It's a bright matte pink, but it looks good as a stain as well.

I really like the look of Grande Dame. It is one of the mineralize lipsticks and is a rosy pink.

I love the colour of Relentlessly Red but I'm scared coz its a matte - how drying is it?

It's not as drying as Ruby Woo Lotta.

I use a lip scrub and then a lip moisturiser before using it though. Reckon it would definitely accentuate any dry bits.

I second Plumful and Patisserie and I also like Peach Blossom.

Crosswires is gorgeous, very like see sheer but a cremesheen
mac red is a beautiful alternative to ruby woo, very similar but more of a satin finish so not drying. I also have patisserie and syrup, love them both. last one, a sheen supreme called new temptation, a gorgeous daytime red, I love it!

Are MAC lipsticks long wearing?

I also second plumful, syrup or patisserie. All gorgeous and easy to wear.

If you like Plumful, Capricious is just a shade lighter, so a really good daytime shade.

I just bought Honeylove, it's a warm nude. Shy Girl is a peachy pink. Hue is a kind of neutral light pink - just sits between cool and warm.

But I'd second See Sheer if you often wear reds and are looking for something more casual. I find it doesn't last very long though (not s surprisr considering 'sheer' is in the title!)

I absolutely love Morange - an orangey-coral shade which sounds terrifying but is really unusual and casual.

I love the original Viva Glam, which is a dark matte red. I wear it most days and I get a lot of 'ooh I like your lipstick' comments. Not sure how summery it is though!
