Hi all,

Now we are finally getting some hot weather, its great. There is just one problem - I'm beginning to sweat off my foundation!!! The horror!

Anyway, I need you lovely ladies to recommend me a good foundation brand that will do a good cover up job, apply evenly and STAY ON MY FACE! LOL This is beginning to drive me up the wall.

Suggestions?

I blagged a tonne of free samples from the painted ladies recently and after much experimentation have found that Estee Lauder double wear light is absolutely unbudgeable! It gives great coverage too.

I'm broke atm but this is the foundation that dreams are made of so I fall asleep at night figuring out just how many Estee Lauder counters I can get to in my local area for more free samples. I plan on doing a regular rotation and if i feel like I'm going to be rumbled I'm will to change hair colour and have dramatic weightloss just to throw them off the scent.

MAC also do amazing primers that seem to make any foundation stay put. I got married abroad at a time when my face was like an oilslick and the mac primer kept all my make up pristine throughout the ceremony and photographs hmmmm wonder if I can blag some samples from them too

I second the Estée Lauder Doublewear Light, it's got pretty good coverage still and stays on like a dream. You sweat through it rather than sweat it off if you know what I mean. Blush I find the full non-light Doublewear can look a bit heavy in the heat.

But primer, foundation and a bit of powder will all keep your face lasting longer.

Lanacane as a primer and Lily Lolo foundation.

Boujois CC cream is brilliant

My favourite foundation is Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk. Has really stood up to a combination of the heat and my extremely oily skin. It's pricey but worth the money in my opinion.
