Hibi scrub

Sinc coming off the pill I've developed awful spots on my chin. I've read on here about hibi scrub but vaguely remember it had to be diluted.

Does anyone know how much you dilute it by?

I don't have an answer for you but I think Hibiscrub is to harsh for your face.

Also, I know it's recommended here for acne, but I really can't see how it could work. Hibiscrub is for staph bacteria, which has nowt to do with acne, but I suppose if it works, it works. It is harsh tho. What about trying the La Roche Posay efaclar range?

I've just bought effaclar duo but read on here to try hibi too. Only just used a pin head size of hibi on my chin. Felt very clean.

I bet your skin felt clean!! It really strips! It's a really harsh cleaner - it might irritate.

It's 1 to 10 for normal use, no idea if it's different for skin care...

Hibi will totally strip your facial skin of its natural oils. Acne prone skin still needs to be kept hydrated. If it gets too stripped it tries to simply hydrate itself by pumping more oils to the surface hence leading to possibly fresh outbreaks. I've been recommended the LRP range mentioned in the above post. Lots of threads on here about the various efflacar products in that range. I suffer with cystic chin acne so I can sympathise. I'm 36 and have had it for over 2 years. I'm under the care of my GP for it.

My GP recommended Hibi scrub for my acne. I would get huge lumps that stayed for months but never do anything. Hibi scrub cleared my skin very quickly. I use it undiluted either as a morning cleanser or a second cleanse in the evening. It hasn't irritated or striped my sensitive skin.
