Please help and over weight overheated desperate woman

I was very ill for most of 2014 and went from a size 8-10, to a size 16-18. I'm 5"11 and I feel grotesque.

I have been putting summer to the back of my mind pretending it's not going to happen and now here it is and I am sat in black jeans which are wringing wet with sweat. I have no idea what to wear in this heat.

I am only in my 20s and I like fashion. I went to Next today in the hope of a solution and (I'm really sorry to any fans!) but I cried and cried when i left. I'm not ready for floral maxi dresses. My legs are the worst part of me too. no shape whatsoever, just trunks of solid mass.

please help?

Obviously everyone's ankles are skinnier than their thighs I just meant proportionally!

Top shop tall in size 16 might work? I think their tall stuff is more generous in every way, not just in length.

Me and em extra large. I'm similar height and find their maxi dresses and skirts long enough plus their ruched styles are very flattering.
