See through skirt, what do I need?

I've bought a beautiful satiny ballet pink maxi skirt online but when I tried it on I could see my black knickers through it, its quite thin & transparent.

Do I need what my grandmother called a slip? A kind of satin knee length petticoat but with no volume...would that do the trick? :)

I just wear nude "safety shorts) (made of bamboo) over my normal undies. aim for pale pants if you can

nude coloured underwear looks horrible but is the only colour that doesn't show through. Have a very good look in the mirror before you go out, though.

I always wear a slip with dresses/skirts - stops them sticking to your tights!

Uniqlo have keep cool slips.

The M&S slips are great, don't make you hot, and stop skirts sticking to your legs

Get a petticoat or full slip from M&S.

I had this problem and put nude control pants under and you couldn't notice
